    Question:
Two weeks ago, I purchased a Husqvarna HU800BBC self propelled lawn mower. I purchased this mower principally to have a mower that I did not have to push through the yard. I am 73 years old with a bad back and need this feature. I have to say I am extremely disappointed. No matter what I do, I end up pushing the mower through the grass. I have raised the deck to the highest level. I have adjusted the cable and no matter what I do, I have to barely trim the tops of the grass to get it to move forward and still have to do some pushing. It is raised so high that I can barely tell I have cut anything. I purchased this mower on line so it probably can't be returned. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate hearing from you. Otherwise, I will have to try to sell the mower at a loss at a yard sale and find something else that will not require pushing.

    Thank you for contacting AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have experienced the failure. Please take the mower to your local authorized servicing dealer to have them inspect the mower, I can only imagine the drive cable is out of adjustment or possilbly the belt is not in the pulley correctly.

You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales and service and parts as well as manuals using the link.
