What trimmer head fits what appears to be an older than 2002 125L line trimmer?
Details:
I have a 125L line trimmer. It has been passed along from a family member to me. I have it 3rd hand and do not have the original manual. The manual I downloaded says that a T25 trimmer head is the correct replacement head. However it does not fit. The threaded shaft is too big to fit the T25 as it comes or either of the adapters that came with the replacement head. The trimmer head I took of is made by UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS. I cant find that on-line either. Help! what replacement head fits?
Answer
It looks like you may have the M12-1.75 threaded gearbox. If this is the case then the T35 (531 00 92-69) or the T35X (544 90 90-02) that would be the one to fit 1993-2001 models. The online look-up shows the T25 only works with the 3/8 R and the M10 threads.
