    Question:
Is there any way to convert a 450 Rancher from .325'' to 3/8'' pitch? How would i go about doing this or finding information on how to do it?

If it is a rim drive system it should be just a matter changing the sprocket rim, bar, and chain out.

Do you know which sprocket I should use?

Was hoping you had a rim drive system but it can be done; although it is a lot more expensive.

As far as I know it a lot hardier go the spur sprocket route. It would require changing over to a adjustable oil pump, changing out the oil pump pinion to the one that the 455 has, then you could use the spur sprocket from the 455.

I did the oil pump conversion on my 450 because I wanted the adjustable pump but stuck with .325 setup otherwise.

This will require some minor alteration to the oil pump cover plate.
