    Question:
I have recently purchased a Z254 with a Kohler 7000 motor. I would like to know all the part numbers for maintenance parts so that I can keep them on hand, such as the:
    Oil Filter
    Air Filter
    Oil Specifications
    Grease Specifications
    Spark Plugs
    V-Belt
    EZT Belt
and any other parts that would be helpful. I have searched the manuals and websites and cannot find this information. Could you please help?

Alan, I would model and spec off the engine serial number tag for the engine related items.

      539110411  Belt, EZT

      539114557  V-Belt, Deck

For grease I use Moly EP wheel bearing grease.

The EZT's use 20w50 synthetic oil ( regular 20w50 can be used). It just that the sythetic has better breakdown resistance.

      Engine Oil 10w30 or SAE30

The motor's Engine Serial Number 4601131754

        The spec number is KT745-3043

Thank you for all your help so far, and in advance for the engine information.

Air Filter 3208309S Prefilter shown in IPL but no part number listed, may now be included with the OEM filter.

      Oil Filter 1205001S

      Spark Plugs 2513214S (NGK BKR5E or BCPR5ES)

These are OEM part numbers and aftermarket versions are available

Thank you, this information is uncomfortably difficult to find. Now to find the absolute strongest replacement belts, drive and the mower. Thanks again!

You'll find that the drive belt don't give much problems other than simply wearing out. The deck belt is the one takes the most abuse. Both belts are Kevlar belts which is already strongest belt available. Don't be fooled into just buying a regular 5/8 x 154" automobile belts either as they simply will not hold up. Stens does make a replacement belt PN 265-604.
