    Question:
purchased 390XPW on 5/14/16 in the last week the rewind sprocket and clutch spring broke, went to dealer to fix, told parts not warranted. Parts that fail in such short time I consider defective, therefore should be covered. Am I wrong? Don Jacobs, NW Timber cutting inc.

Don, Try calling Husqvarna Forest & Garden at 1-800-487-5963 for an explanation why coverage was denied. For a commercial saw to fail this quick unless it was abused is not normal.

I now I only been working on chainsaws of various manufactures professionally for 6 yrs but I have used them every since I was a teenager (now 56) and I never seen a clutch spring failure except on worn out or high usage clutches. Now as with all things it is possible that it can happen; just haven't seen it.
