I just purchased the RZ5424. When I went to run it for the first time, the engine turns over but when I try to engage the machine (either through by taking the parking break off or using the handles) the machine shuts off. Can anyone help? I found a wire that should be connected but cannot find the appropriate counter part to it. Thanks

This sounds like it maybe the seat switch wire, if the seat switch is disconnected you will get these symptoms.
Please check the seat switch connector and verify it is connected. Once this is resolved before you can bring the control arms in the parking brake must be released or the unit will die. And you can not release the parking brake if the seat switch is not connected and you are not in the seat.
