Question:

Brand new Husqvarna 440 chainsaw is leaking oil and has not even been used. I've seen numerous posts related to this. Why hasn't Husqvarna addressed this issue? Have a Stihl that is several years old and it has never done this. What is the fix for this issue?

It shall be tight at that moment. Bring it back to your dealer and let them look on that. However, when you ran the saw there is some residial oil arround the bar end which is felt as leaking oil pump, but it is not.
