I have a Craftsman Model 917379071 which according to Sears was manufactured by American Yard Products. What telephone number do they have?
Answer
You should contact Husqvarna Customer service but you would need call a Husqvarna dealer for the current phone number.
American Yard Products was purchased by Husqvarna in 2006 so American Yard Products (AYP) only exists in name only now.+
If the owners is anywhere near the production date that SP mower was produced between 2000 and 2005 so is there particular problem that someone here might help you with?

Thank you. After I posted the question I was able to confirm the Husqvarna did purchase AYP. Unfortunately per the Husqvarna Dealer, the Side Grass Discharge Guard is no longer available, nor is the Mulching Cover. I am left using Duct Tape to secure the Guard until the Mower gives out - unless someone has a better idea. Thank you, Russ
