    Question:
I've had a 128LD trimmer for about 3 or 4 years and it started everyrime I used it easily. All of a sudden it stalled out one day and I can't start it again. This is what I've done to try to fix it and get it to start again:
    1. Checked spark arrestor shield. It was clear.
    2. Put in new NKG spark plug.
    3. New Air filter.
    4. New carburetors with a new primer bulb.
    5. Tested shut off switch and it tested good.
    6. Replaced gas line and fuel filter from gas tank to carburetor.
Is there anything left to replace or change? Recoil works fine at least for the moment. With all the trys to start it, that will probably break next!
Any suggestions will be appreciated. I hate to dispose of it since I just put another $50 plus into it. Thanks

Pull the muffler and check the piston and cylinder condition. If heavy scored then its time for a new trimmer as depending what your willing to spend you probably better with a new unit.

Now if not heavily scored then it might just be a struck piston ring.

Either way a compression test will tell if the PNC is shot or not.
