    Question:
I have a Husky 323L trimmer that is flooding when I try to start it, without choking or priming. It is leaking a little gas out of one of the fuel line rubber bushings on the fuel tank. Might this be the problem? I can sometimes remove the spark plug, dry it off then pull the rope a couple of times, reinstall the plug and it cranks. Or might it need a carb adjustment?
    Thank you for your help

The fuel leaking from the fuel tank bushing is not causing the flood though the line and bushing do need replacing.

Most likely the carburetor is leaking fuel due to stiffen rubber metering diaphragm. Usually a good ultrasonic cleaning using water and soap along replacing the gaskets and diaphragms will resolved this. I usually go with the repair kit instead the GND kit as it contains a replace needle and welch plugs.

A second option since these carburetors are fairly low now is to simply replace the carburetors. Many shops are doing this now as cost saving, plus many techs have no idea how to rebuild the carburetor as they are just part changers.

Thank you for the speedy answer.  I probably will buy the repair kit and if that doesn't fix it, then buy a carburetor.

        thanks again for your help
