General Product Question posted April 27, 2013 by Tim Winkler
    Question:
Just purchased a new DRT900H tiller. Immediately upon engaging it into forward motion (or any), noticed it was making kind of a grinding noise and sounded like it came from the drive unit, then I noticed the cover over the drive belt was vibrating. I ignored it at first then today it happened again, so I took the cover off and discovered that the main belt pulley for the drive unit was rubbing against the belt cover and has almost worn through the exterior of the cover.
Who would I contact to get this replaced? It looks like that the cover should've been made with a little more clearance inside of it.

    Question:
Recently purchased two drt900 tillers. Both engines run much slower than I anticipated or am used to in previous tillers, even at full speed. Is this how they are supposed to operate?

the FT900 tiller_ Q: your last catalog says the tiller comes in 12", 22", 26" widths.
Do you still make a 12" width?

    Question:
    Two questions:

    1. What is the difference between the DRT900 and TR 317D Tiller as shown on Lowes website? Both have same retail price point.

    2. Is there any difference between the DRT900 and DRT900E other than the electric start?

    Thanks - Richard

    Question:
Very disappointed that I picked up a new tiller at Sears on October 14, 2011 and the hardware package was not included in the sealed back with the owner's manual. Called Sears on October 15th to order package. Package isn't listed as an item. Had to go through the parts list with rep on the phone for half and hour to be sure we had all the parts to order. It is now November 10th and I've only received 4 of the 5 sets of parts I need to be able to use the tiller. Keep getting the run around from Sears. Cannot contact Husqvarna because they refer you back to the dealer. Not happy and if I do not get the parts shortly, will return the tiller and get another brand. Can anyone suggest where else I can pick up the two bolts I'm missing for the handle????
