General Product Question posted April 25, 2013 by Ron Hudson
    Question:
I am considering buying one of two Husqvarna tillers, the DRT900E or the DRT900H. The "E" comes with a Briggs & Stranton engine. The "H" comes with a Honda engine. I know the "E" offers more cc's (205 vs 160) and more gross torque (9lb ft vs 6.9 lb ft). I am buying one of these tomorrow.

Which is the better engine? I want a machine that will give me long lasting, trouble free use?

Also, which of these engines is made in the USA?

General Product Question posted March 28, 2015 by Dennis Baker
    Question:
I have the CRT900 rear tine tiller. I have now used it two times tilling up garden spots. What I keep noticing is that the machine seems to grade up dirt, grass, leaves underneath the engine/framework area ahead of the tines until it high-centers. I have to put it in reverse and try moving forward again. Am I incorrectly operating the machine or is there something else I should be doing? Doesn't seem like a problem this machine should keep having. Operator error??
Thanks for any and all advice.

    Question:
I have a Husqvarna 650RTT tiller that is 3 years old. When tilling deeper or if there is a lot of organic material to till into the soil, the wheels spin and I have to push the tiller forward. This is very tiring. I've noticed on the newer tillers there are wider tires. Would changing the tires to a wider tire help? I have a sandy loam soil, not real light and not too heavy, perfect for growing.

    Question:
Does the Husqvarna CRT900 allow for a furrower attachment? If so, what the the part number. I'm looking for a rear tine tiller with a furrower/rower attachment. I can't seem to find any info about attachments for rear tine tillers. If not the Husqvarna CRT900 then any models or brands would be very helpful. Model numbers and furrower part numbers. Thanks.

General Product Question posted November 10, 2011 by Thomas Boston
    Question:
Very disappointed that I picked up a new tiller at Sears on October 14, 2011 and the hardware package was not included in the sealed back with the owner's manual. Called Sears on October 15th to order package. Package isn't listed as an item. Had to go through the parts list with rep on the phone for half and hour to be sure we had all the parts to order. It is now November 10th and I've only received 4 of the 5 sets of parts I need to be able to use the tiller. Keep getting the run around from Sears. Cannot contact Husqvarna because they refer you back to the dealer. Not happy and if I do not get the parts shortly, will return the tiller and get another brand. Can anyone suggest where else I can pick up the two bolts I'm missing for the handle????

    Question:
I brought my brand new FT900 home today. I spent considerable time reading the manual, got it started and used it for about two hours, then it cut off. There was still fuel in it, so the obvious is not the problem. Now, I can't get it started. PLEASE DON'T POST THE CANNED ANSWER ABOUT IT SITTING THERE A LONG TIME. THIS IS A NEW UNIT. I feel like just taking it back and getting something else. I need someone to help me troubleshoot this ...

General Product Question posted February 14, 2016 by Jerry Schumram
    Question:
I am considering either a CRT900 or DRT900 rototiller. I'm aware of most differences between the two, although I notice that the CRT appears to use bolo tines while the DRT900 employs mainly "spade" tines. How does the performance of these tine types differ?
