General Product Question last edited February 10, 2012 by Steve WilliamsQuestion:I purchased a Husqvarva 125B handheld blower last week. On page 18 of the manual, it states to change the spark plug and air filter monthly.Is this right? I feel like I take good care of my equipment, but this sure seems like overkill.I have never had to baby anything that bad. Also I have read the posts on gasoline. Since it is almost impossible to buy gasoline without some ethanol (<10%) in it this is what I am using. Do I need to run the gas completely out of the blower if I'm not going to use it for more than 30 days?I've heard pros and cons about running the gas completely out.- General Product Question last edited February 10, 2012 by BOB BOULEQuestion:I own a Husqvarna 130BT blower,& it says when you startup keep the choke in the off position & give it a couple of pulls until you hear it catch,then put the choke on & 1 pull it does start right up.Do you turn the choke to the off position once it's started or leave it on.It mentions nothing about turning it off.Do you leave it on or off..Details:

Varies between what appears to be max rpm and just a little less. RPM level repeatedly goes up and down.

Less than 2 years old and last week exhaust is so hot that it is melting the muffler guard.

Have found the kit, but it gives specific models that it is to be used with - - one of those is the 125 b series. My question may seem silly, but it's quite serious. Is the 125 bv blower part of the 125 b series? I would like to be certain about this BEFORE i purchase the accessory kit, but I can't seem to find anything that connects the 125 BV with the 125 b series. Thanks in advance to anyone who might clear this up for me.

Problem I have now is that it starts easily but quits if I apply throttle. Gas is fresh & air filter has been cleaned regularly. Spark plug looks new. How can it be fixed without cost to me? for over $200. this shouldn't fail so soon. HELP!!
