Lawn Tractor PB175H46YT It is almost impossible to slide...Answeredescalated2

    Question:
    Lawn Tractor PB175H46YT
It is almost impossible to slide the seat back while sitting in it because it binds. It slides forward fairly easy. It slides easily both ways when not sitting it.
I have removed rhe seat, cleaned the slides and tried to lubricate with white grease without much success.
This is important because one must slide the seat fully back in order get enough clearance to get on and off of the tractor, and must slide it forward to get close enough to reach the brake when operating the tractor.
    Is there a solution?
    Thanks,

    Question:
I just purchased a new Poulan-Pro Lawn Tractor PB195H46YT from Ace Hardware. All is fine except that I have trouble moving the blade clutch lever far enough so that the cutting blades continue to rotate.
I have less than normal strength in my hands and arms do to a previous accident injury and it takes all of my strength to fully rotate the clutch lever.
Is there a way that this mechanism can be modified to reduce the effort that is required? Maybe a less powerful spring connecting the cable to the the idler mechanism?
    Thank You
