One more question. I took the PTO off no problem. Do I need to take the idler pulley off to install the new belt? I'm having problems figuring out how to route the belt
Thanks
OK I went home at lunch and there is a washer with 2 flat sides. When I take that bolt out will both pulleys come off? Or just the lower pulley and the PTO?
Thanks
Jon
I have an impact and a torque wrench. I'll give it a try as soon as I get home.
Thank you for your help
Jon
If I engage the blade knob will that keep the engine from turning?
Thanks
If I take the PTO off, how to I keep the Motor from turning to loosen the bolt holding the pulley on?
Thanks
Eugene, Thank you for the response. The wires that go to the PTO have a connector, Is there a trick to separating the connector? Also it's a very tight fit where the nuts are holding the bracket on. Is there a special tool or wrench you would suggest? Is it metric of standard?
Thank you again!
