I'm replacing an old scotts 2046, it lasted about 12 years with the K46 and my whole yard is a hill. You need to keep a std car in 1st to go up the driveway! Not sure what I'll do with the 20hp Briggs. If I was handy I would say a saw mill or a generator.
i keep weighing the cost of the K66 and it's lifespan vs the K46. The killer is the that fab deck requires a $900 powered bagging system.
The GT48XLis and the 52 have K66 transmissions. Their are websites like tractor data or tractorbynet that list this info. I thought people from husky answered these questions, but I don't see anyone answering anybody's questions on this forum. It's making me wonder how much they support their products. Hell at a dealer (an actual dealer, not Lowes) I had the get on the ground to figure out the transmission models since they sales guys didn't know squat.
