Question:
I recently purchased a YTH22V46 from Lowes. There was an issue with the mower so they decided to exchange it for me however the new mower they brought me was a YTA22V46. From what I understand the difference is the YTA is a belt driven automatic and the YTH that I originally purchased is a hydrostatic. When I called Lowes back they told me that they are all hydrostatic which is either a lie or the person just didnt know what they were talking about. I do not even see this new YTA22V46 on Husqvarna's website yet. Is this new automatic an improvement on the hydrostatic? I originally purchased the hydrostatic after doing some research and deciding that was the transmission that I wanted but now I need to decide whether or not to have them exchange this again for the correct YTH22V46. They were the same price on the Lowe's website and I would be using it to be mowing a little under 2 aches of land with lots of farm buildings to navigate and some up and down drainage hills and ditches.
