Just received a Fedx package from Orngeburg S.C,with a COMPLETE deck lift assy.It has all the parts assembled in the handle, plunger, cable and pin.ready to install.I replaced the damaged piece, made the level adjustment and the mower was back online in 20 min. Thanks to Brandon,Rick and Sam Hutchmeyer for resolving this situation. If anyopne outthere ever needs to replace the deck lift assy.Make sure you order the complete unit not just part # 429-395(handle) a new part # for the complete assy.is forthcoming. Also be aware that the owners manual is now at rev 9 (going to 10 when parts breakdown is updated about this issue.

This is a follow up question about the same problem concerning the deck lift assy on the WEO.I have a new part (429395)that I recieved from Sears direct.I now have the part numbers for 3 of the 4 parts needed to make a complete left assy.I still need the part number for the flexible rod connecting the plunger to the locking pin.Or is there a part number for a complete lift assy??I also hope there will be some instructions on how to assemble these parts.

The 3rd time I used my brand new WE261 mower I managed to have a collission with an obsticle that resulted in damage to the deck lift assy.(part#429395)I just recieved the new part from Sears direct and here's the problem.
The new part was shown complete in the owners manual including hand grip and thumb actuated push button. The part I recieved had no grip, push button.spring, actuator rod or locking pin. There does not seem to be any way to remove the the actuator rod and locking pin from the old part to place in the new part. Also nobody seems to have a drawing of these parts or much less part numbers.I'm concerned that even if I cound get these items they can't be assembled in the handle assy.after it has been welded to the mounting brackets.I bet that part #429395 should come with all pieces included. What now???? Oh! and there are no service centers in Wyoming that will work on this machine.

I have a Weed eater one riding mower.I have been the proud owner for about 3 weeks now and have had two problems.I have spent many hours on the internet and phone tring to find a source for documentation/service and or parts. So far all listed dealers have declained any involvement with this product. The seller(Shiveley Hardware Saratoga Wyo 82331 refuses to provide ANY kind of service and will not accept a return.I finally took the machine apart figured out the problems(adjustments)Took some digital photoes and created my own service manual.I would like to return this unit or get a factory service manual.
