    Question:
This is a follow up question about the same problem concerning the deck lift assy on the WEO.I have a new part (429395)that I recieved from Sears direct.I now have the part numbers for 3 of the 4 parts needed to make a complete left assy.I still need the part number for the flexible rod connecting the plunger to the locking pin.Or is there a part number for a complete lift assy??I also hope there will be some instructions on how to assemble these parts.

    Dan,

Answer Army wrote back last week to this post, but I noticed that the comments did not save.  Regardless, below are the part numbers needed (not including 429395) for the whole deck lift handle assembly with the Sears part numbers.  Please refer to the attached IPL for parts location and assembly.  Thank you again for using Answer Army.

    532 12 56-31 (Sears #125631X) GRIP, HANDLE

    532 42 94-01 (Sears #429401) PLUNGER

    532 10 57-67 (Sears #105767X) PIN

    817 49 05-08 (Sears #17490508) BOLT, 5/16-18 X 1/2

Got IT! Thanks so much, My manual was Rev.4

I get the feeling that you are not in a location that would allow you to put your hands on a WE261 or this part. The eng.drawings you are looking at still don't show the actuating rod/cable(?)that transfers motion from the plunger to the pin.Nor do they show the device attached to the actuating rod/cables ( opposite end from the plunger) that the pin is attached to.Also how do you install these parts into the lift assy handle tube ?.I believe that the actuating rod/cabe is really just a length of standard manual control cable minus the center wire.

I'm still willing to bet that a Deck lift assy.was never itended to be sold in this configuration. If I needed a new carb for the engine would I have to order the bowl, lid, float, needle valve, jets gaskets etc, etc?
