I'm hearing you, I bought the husky 597xp auto tune, 2 hr into use it breaks down, so I took back to the shop, left it with them & was later told that it needs a new motor! That was on Friday the 11th of October & the parts would be in on Monday. Are you serious a brand new saw claps out & you want to virtually replace it with a rebuilt one! Not impressed I stressed that if anything else went wrong with the saw upon its return I would expect a replacement! Anyway moving forward didn't hear from them on Monday or the rest of the week, so I walked in the store today, "can I help you sir" yes I'm after a chainsaw, what kind? The kind I left here last week! Oh! Hang on. Oh no body has been in contact with you, No! Your parts arrived except the crank, it's on back order I'll check when it's in. Nup sorry not hood enough I bought a brand new saw & that's what I would like! " but the repair is covered by warranty, NOW listen husqvarna I could have bought a used 597xp auto tune for half the price! Now that's basically what I've ended up with . I was told buy husqvarna that it was a 1in 10000 defect. Fine take your 1in 10000 defect saw & give me one of the other 999 saw's!

where I stand at the moment, the crank wont be in until 1st of November! The shop understands my pain? Spoke to husqvarna customer service they understand my pain! Like hell they do if they did I would have the brand new saw I bought! Not some defective P.O.C.

I have 10 tonne of dirt sitting on the back yard waiting for me to finish the retaining wall ( very large logs) I.e. Need a chainsaw to cut! Are they going to replace all the dirt if it washes away in the mean time. The kids would also like to play in the back yard! So now I'm left with a crappy backyard unable to finish until sometime after the 1 November! That will be a month without a saw I bought to use each weekend & after work to get this job done.

I think I might want my money back, there is a stihl dealership in town.
