Service & Maintenance Question posted June 28, 2012 by Jesse Peterson in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Chainsaws public
I have a new Husqvarna 240 chain saw. Used it three times and now when I go to start it it floods really really easily. Spark plug is soaking wet after only a few pulls. I read that its possible the membranes inside the carb are torn. Nope. I took the carburetor apart to check. When I put it all back together, I blew everything out with compressed air so it was "dry" of fuel. I pulled the string and it started right up but then shut off within a few seconds. It flooded. There's too much fuel inbound. Any ideas? What should I look for? What are the two screws on the side marked H and L that are on the carburetor?
