How can Husq lie to us about this transaxle.  It is crap and there is many more failures than they fess up to.  The K46 should not be put into a mower that is to mow, pull attachments that are sold with it.  All you will hear is how you voided the warranty.

Paul ( I bought 2of these mowers and almost all the attachments).  Husq is not honest or they would fess up to their customers.

I was told by Husq, that if you used the mower and you weighed more than 225lbs you voided the warranty.  If you used it on a golf course - you voided the warranty.  Bottom line our friends at Husq will not cover the transaxle because I'm sure the know the k46 axle will not stand up to use on any property larger than a small lot in the city.  Then your only problem will be how do I get it through the gate to the back yard!

I recently bought a new Husq 54" from Lowes, and it was just weeks later the tractor would not move.  I went through all the advice that was printed in the manual.  I called the warranty number and was given  hundred reasons why the would bot cover a repair on the transaxle ($1500).  Are you over 225 lbs, do you use on a rural place over 5 acres, if you tried to improve traction and many more reasons how we voided the warranty on the mower.  Now that Husq and my extended warranties were null and void, I called on line businesses to see how I could salvage my $5000.00 investment (I bought all the attachments).  At last I found a fellow named Roger who adervertised a t66 to replace the crap t46.  I've used my tractor for months now and nothing will stop the wheel when working on my property.  If my tractor will not pull something, it will dig in the ground, wheels turning!

save your investment and hove a t66 installed.  Your little tractor will act like a big tractor.
