Yes, the blower does have a fuel filter. It is located inside the fuel tank on the end of one of the hoses. The part # is 530 09 56-46.
Hope this answers your question.
On the zero turn mowers that I'm familiar with as along as the machine is going straight the handles are close enough together that you can hold them with one hand, allowing you to drink your beverage with the other hand. When turning, the handles would be far enough apart that you would have to put your drink down. Hopefully that answeres your questions.
I'm assuming you mean the 395xp chainsaw?
Sound pressure level at operators ear | 102 dB(A) |
---|---|
Sound power level, guaranteed (LWA) | 115 dB(A) |

It is becoming more and more common these days to see carbon build up on the cylinder top, the piston rings and the exhaust port of the small engines. This is generally caused by using older gas. With all the ethynol being put in to the gas these days the gas doesn't last nearly as long as it used to, even with a stabilizer. I would recommend only purchasing enough gas that can be used within a months time, with a stabilizer maybe two months. The other thing you can do to prolong the life of your gas is to make sure it's stored in an air tight container.
As far as the question about a "stuck" ring affecting the compression, when a ring is stuck it can't expand and contract as the piston moves up and down. As the piston moves up the ring expands out to the wall of the cylinder, which is what builds up the pressure. With a ring that is stuck or broken this can't happen.
This post is a couple of months after your last post, hopefully you've had better success with your saw.
The forward and reverse functions are mounted on the main handle bars of the machine. For forward you depress the handle on the left and for reverse it's the handle on the right. Generally the handles are mounted on top but I have also seen them mounted on the underside of the main handle bars. I've attached a picture to show you what I mean.
Hopefully this answers your question.
If I'm not mistaken the mulcher plug for this model of mower is built in to the back of the grass catcher door. There is not an extra part that you need to order.
Hopefully this answers your question.
The chainsaw basically needs 3 things to start, fuel, spark and compression. From what you've described you may have narrowed it down. The next thing I would check is the compression level. It should be around 115-120 psi. It's a fairly simple test that your local Husqvarna dealer can help you perform. Hope this helps. I'd be interested in hearing what you find out.
Because a 40:1 ratio has more oil mixed in with the fuel it is possible to run a 50:1 engine with that mix. I would caution against it though as it may cause future problems. Too much oil will cause it to smoke more and can foul up your spark plug which will cause your machine to run poorly or even stop running. The excessive oil may gum up other parts of the engine as well.
I would recommend having 2 gas cans around, one marked 50:1 and the other 40:1. That way all your machines run as they should.
