Problem with forward, reverse on 924HVescalated
Service & Maintenance Question posted December 9, 2012 by GREG SKOWRONEK in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Snow Blowers public
    Question:
Problem with forward, reverse on 924HV
    Details:

i bought 924HV last fall and used it only few times last yest, we had almost no snow. Everything was ok, althou i think it is leaking oil from day 1 (i have already put the post about this issue last year).

However, we just had some major snow storm and the machine started to be very problematic, after about 30 min of usage i couldnt engage it either in drive or reverse, no matter which setting i put it on it was not moving. Finaly after about 5 min of trying is started moving VERY slowly forward (no matter which seeting i put it on). When i put it on the fastest it wasnt moving at all. I got frustrated, letf it alone for about 10 min, then stared again and to my suprise all came back to normal.

    Any ideas whats going on?

BTW, i still think it is leaking some oil like fluid, but i will check tomorrow to make sure after today's usage.

    Let me know, thanks

General Product Question last edited February 10, 2012 by GREG SKOWRONEK in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Snow Blowers public
    Question:
New 924HV oil leak? I just got 924HV over a month ago, when i picked it up from the dealer the oil level was at full. I store it in the shed for over a month and today I saw (and smelled it too) a fairly large ( around 10 shoe size) paddle of oil underneath it. i tipped it to the side little bit and saw that there were few drops on the plastic cover underneath the thrower. However, i checked the oil level (few times today) and it is still on FULL, exactly as it was a month ago. Any ideas on whats going on?
I had it running for about 10 min after i purchased it to see if it works properly, everything was ok.
