    Terry, no it runs the same as before.  The local dealer worked on it for a while with no change in operation.  He actually took a brand new one out and it was the same.  He also took out a new one with the Briggs motor and tried it.  Thinking it was the Honda engine.  It did the same thing.  I think its designed that way or its the tine layout that causes that surging.  I saw a youtube video of a guy tilling his yard with it and it sounded and looked just like what mine-yours was doing.  He apparently was not bothered by it.  I find it very annoying for this type of machine. 

    We are just living with it and it does do the job, just not what we were expecting.  It is much worse with the tines in reverse, forward is much more manageable.  I think its a very poor design/major flaw and would not recommend purchasing one.  There are other tillers out there that don't run like that even without the nice Honda engine.
