Just an update. Trimmer is still at the service center. Apparently, it needs a new coil. I hope it runs this time, it has been at the repair center the better part of this summer.

And in response to you, Scott. Mine did the same thing and it wasn't a simple carburetor adjustment.

I have a 128ld trimmer that I purchased a year and a couple months ago. Mine started doing the same thing last fall. When I fired it up for the first time this year, it ran for a few minutes and then it quit. It would not start again. Took it to an authorized repair center, and they told me it was the fly-wheel. They fixed it and I got it back and it ran like crap stalling, sputtering and back firing, so I took it back to the repair shop. I got it back three weeks later and it still won't run. It starts, and Idles ok, but when you give it some throttle it boggs down, sputters, or just speeds up and stalls.

It is now back at the repair center, and I have not had a string trimmer since the end of May!!!!

Take it back to the place of purchase before the time to return it runs out.

I have had a few string trimmers in my life. All 2 cycle, and this is the first time I have had so much trouble whith one (this is my first Husqvarna, probably my last).
