Problem solved! User error. Flooded, because I was used to my old chainsaw w/ a standard carb, I was flooding it.
Karla, back to your question about how I like the Autotune; I've cut for last couple days now and all I can say is WOW. This is a serious chainsaw with scary power. Blasts though the hardest oaks I have in no time. Simply amazed at this saw.
I'm really looking forward to linking up all my timber this year b/c it won't take nearly as long and will be much easier on me.
Well, I'm embarrassed to say this, but I can't for the life of me get the darn spark plug to turn. They must have really torqued this thing down at the factory. I'm very leery of usimg a cheater bar for fear of snapping the plug off in the block. I've not used any WD or PB blaster type penetrating lubes. I did bring it in the house to warm up a bit near the fire to see if that might help, but no luck. I'm betting you're right that it's flooded given the fuel that came out of the exhaust and the stronger than normal smell of fuel. Looks like I might be out of luck until the dealer opens again on Friday. So much for getting some work done on my time off.
Yes, it has the Autotune. I hear it's great, but, I have no idea yet.
Thank you, I'll go try that now and reply back!
