    I downloaded the SmartCut manual, but it was not clear about whether one could operate the mower with the ROS engaged full-time. Thanks for clearing that up.

    Unfortunately, the WeedEater dealer in my area isn't actually selling these mowers this season. They had the WeOne at the end of last season, but they aren't even selling that now. And, no one within 50 miles has a SmartCut on-display to examine. My only option to purchase is to buy one online, unseen, from the HomeDepot website.
