The mower deck height adjustment is one in to four inches.
Top notch would be the 4 inch height; bottm notch would be the one inch height.
Intermediate 4 notches would be proportionable: each notch would amount to a 3/5 (or just under 5/8) inch change in height.
Approximate heights would be: 2nd notch from bottom 1 5/8 inch, 3rd notch 2 1/4, 4th notch 2 3/4, 5th notch 3 3/8.

I have the same prob. can only get 2.5 max cut. my tires all measure 2 inch's smaller than they are suppose to be. trying to get husqy to fix it

On my "Concrete" garage floor, the height at the #6 level is only 3". When you get on the grass, it goes down to 2-1/2 " which is 1" shorter than what I want to cut it. Any advise on height adjustment? If not, I'm taking it back for a refund.
