What replacement chain is recommended for my 18" Husqvarna 240e chainsaw?
The chain that came on it has "91" and "PV" stamped on it. It has 62 drive links.
Thanks,
Gary Jorgensen
Look at the tail of the bar ( The end closest the engine) there should be a set numbers there. Please post so we know gauge bar you have.
Right now it is a 3/8 LP chain with 62 drive links but there is 0.050 gauge and a .043 gauge available depending the bar use; although, the .043 gauge isn't use too much on these saws.
According to your drive count the original bar has been replace as Husqvarna lists the 18 bar as using 68 Drive link chain. The chain that has the 68 drive links is their part number 501846568 (H80 - 18" (.050)).

My manual says it is a .050 gauge, but they do not suggest a chain replacement number. Can you help?
Thanks,
Gary J
