Did you store the fuel in the unit? This sounds like a fuel supply problem. First thing to try, purchase a fuel additive called "Start Your Engines" available through Wal-Mart. Mix this additive HEAVY with your fuel. Try to run the unit and flush the fuel lines / carburetor. The unit should start to improve over a tank of fuel. If not, the carburetor may need to be repaired or replaced.
For future use of the machine, always use a Premium fuel and / or a Pre-mix fuel.
Ethanol is the destroyer of all 2 cycle engines. Proper oil is also very important. We recommend either the Husqvarna Silver or Husqvarna XP oil.
