To change on the 455 Rancher is not complicated once you know the formula. The bar you need would be a small mount pattern with 3/8" gauge and .050" bar. These number break down as follows:
HT= Replaceable tip sprocket
2= small mount
8= 3/8"
0= .050"
60= number of chain lengths (60 is needed for 16" bar)
The bar you need would be HT280-60 or Husqvarna part number 608 00 00-16
This same formula can be used for bars between 16" to 20" We do not recommend using a 14" (the saw can over-rev) or a 24" on the 455 Rancher.
