    Question:
I have a K760 Demo Saw and I am trying to find a blade to cut steel. I have tried a couple 14" blades but when the rpms get up there they wobble. Is there a way to limit the rpms because as I look through my options for metal cutting 14" blades the industry standard seems to be 5,460 rpms max.

     Hi John,

If your experiencing a high speed wobble you probably need to look at replacing some parts (ie bearings) in the end of the cutting arm. You should not have any or very minimal radial play in the bearings where you mount the blade on the shaft. Being a demo unit it is very likely that these parts have reached their service limits. It can be dangerous to operate a piece of equipment that has become worn thru use. Please repair or get your cutter into a servicing dealer to have it looked at. Hope this helps.
