Why is so challenging to find post on one model chainsaw? that linkage has three parts and doesn't go into a captured hole on the plate on the carb controlling the flutter valve it goes into the long notch and under the air filter into a capturing/aligning rectangular plastic bushing thing that slips down into position with a cover not unlike a bar cover that the throttle itself then sends forwards and back. The fuel line, the choke linkage, the fuel linkage and the carb gasket have to go on at the same time as aligning the air filter backer [a juggling act]. My saw was vandalized and I'm trying to find the factory presets for the fuel jets so I can fix that next. My throttle plate was bent, the flutter valve was turned and the jets put out of adjustment in the extreme. It was either the never ending gas lighting or the revenge of a ***.
