    Question:
Recently purchased a HU600L mower from Sears. I live in Central Florida and have St. Augustine grass. Now that we have been getting rain and the grass is growing, I have discovered that the rear connecting rod for the 4 wheel height adjustment sits beneath the mover blade height. This causes the mower to ride on the bar instead of the wheels thereby making the rear wheel drive useless. Is there any way that I can convert this mower to the independent wheel height adjustment so that I can eliminate the rear height adjustment bar? Otherwise I will have to get a new mower as this mower is literally not "cutting it".

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting you have experienced this problem.

The indications are that the wheels are set to low, does the mower roll on flat concrete or pavement? If so the mower should not be dragging in the grass.

The mower can not be converted to individual adjustments.

Please have your dealer inspect the mower to determine if there is something wrong with the assembly of the mower.
