Service & Maintenance Question posted July 29, 2011 by mike warnerJust bought the 122C Husqvarna trimmer for about $175 after going thru several cheaper trimmers , under $100 made in China.
It worked great for approx 2 hours.
Best tool I ever used...for that 2 hours.
I wasnt being overly aggresive, bumped a rockery with the trimmer head, and suddenly it has stopped working. The motor runs but the head wont spin.
Hey Husqvarna...people dont mind spending more for a quality product that ISNT made in China but seriously...it should be better than the ones made in China!
After only 2 hours I am now on Husqvarna dot com trying to find a local repair shop instead of finishing my lawn, the site is NOT user friendly.
I put my zip code in and got nothing.
I live right in the heart of Seattle.
Husqvarna...get it together !
No wonder China is kicking our butts !

The only directions shown are the pictures. Which way do you load the line? I have tried a couple of times, and the auto load does not work.

I put fresh gas in it and it is sluggish, hard to start and quits after warming up. If it is the gas, what do you suggest I run in it?
- Service & Maintenance Question posted August 31, 2011 by Mason Jacobsonmy 124c trimmer does not spark, I completely disassembled it, cleaned magneto sufaces checked wiring and switch, It only produces a spark when the Magneto is grounded to the chasis. Is the Mag bad?

- Service & Maintenance Question posted November 26, 2011 by molly smithon my walk behind string trimmer, the grass gets wrapped around the shaft of the trimmer and is a pain to clean off at each use , i would not have bought it if i knew this. what suggestions do you have- also i have opend and closed may oil tanks and had no problem replacing the dipstick. this one does not have much threading to screw in and it can feel tight when it is not closed and it came off in use and oil splashed everywhere i wpould not have bought it if i kne w this i would like to alert other consumers of these design flaws the oil apparently opens and closes like a child guard on medicine but nothing in the book shows how this is different . poor design you stink
