Mower Bag Gets Debris Between Fabric Layersescalated4

    Question:
Mower Bag Gets Debris Between Fabric Layers
    Details:

I have a brand new Husquavarna AWD 22" Self-Propelled with the Honda 190 engine.  While using it for the first time last weekend I noticed that the bag was collecting debris (dirt, dust, minute sized clippings, etc.) between the two layers of fabric on the left side of the bag.  I'm not sure why there are two layers of fabric here but this area is completely 'sealed' and the debris cannot be dumped out.  I've tried shaking it out and even using a shop vac but it is a futile effort.  The entire left side of the bag is completely stuffed like a pillow about 3 to 4" thick.  I've had clippings laying around before and I know it's probably a matter of time before they begin to rot.  I'm pretty disappointed by this.  Is there anything I can do short of cutting a hole in the side of the bag?

I'll try to post a picture of this later.

    Thanks,

    Tanner

    Increase speed of self-propelled Mower?escalated2

    Question:
    Increase speed of self-propelled Mower?
    Details:

I recently purchased a new Husquavarna 22" AWD mower with the Honda 190cc engine.  I have a large yard (1/2 acre) that takes between 1.5 and 2 hours to mow with my old push mower depending on how thick the grass is.  Upon trying my new Husquavarna out for the first time I was pretty disappointed to find that the top speed is slower than I used to push my old mower!  Is there anything that can be done to make the mower go faster?  I was really looking forward to the time savings and it appears that it will be spending MORE time mowing with my fancy new mower!
