Thanks for the advice. We also have done extensive research on this saw & many others before & after the purchase, & there is some info on other sites as well. Sorry for the confusion about the use of the saw--but this has been my main trimming saw everyday since we got it except for this issue with the fuel line & auto tune, & is on the way to a dealer to be fixed again. Yes of course checked all possible things as I have been doing this work for many years & is not my 1st problem saw. LOL.... I just want to know if ANY one that has this T540xp saw &/or just recently purchased one has or has had any issues with the same thing? Thank-you all for the help!

Not sure about that eyelet either & only time will tell... & I am wondering how is your saw running after a week? & did you have any problems with the auto tune yet? I had problems after the 1st day & was told that it had to go to a dealer to be fine tuned/adjusted for altitude due to it being assembled in another country etc. So off to the dealer it went & HE was NOT happy to deal with this chainsaw that I purchased from an online Tree place & was not very nice. So I am curious if you or any one has had this issue with the T540xp?
