First, THANK YOU for your help.

But of course, it's MY fault! Since this was a separate web page strictly for registering to get the carrying case, there should have been an immediate red flag for wrong info. Also received a confirmation stating the case will arrive in 4 to 6 weeks. If it's a Home Depot only co-op promotion, place of purchase field should not have been on this form. But no, it was just the regular registration form copied and pasted! Good customer service requires more thought and effort than that. Whoever is in charge should be ashamed.

Originally registered August 27.  Confirmation #110828-000272.  Filled in the info again yesterday in the hope that there might have been a customer service phone number on the confirmation page. Very frustrating for something that should be so simple.

Thanks. I agree it's a fine machine, so far. I regret not buying it at a different store where I saw it.  For $10 more it came with the case.

Poulan Pro customer service is non-existent. Called for the same problem- it has been over nine weeks since I registered to get the "free" carrying case. Waited 15 minutes and then was told there was nothing they can do to help. The rep told me to call the number on poulanprofreecase.com. I told him it's poulanprocase.com and there's no phone number there. He then argued with me and said if I go to poulanprofreecase.com there will be a number to call. THERE IS NO SUCH WEB PAGE ! ! !  Now wondering if there ever WAS a free case available. Thought the company had a good reputation. Guess I was wrong.
