    LOL!

Your answer just made my day! Thank you very much for providing what I knew would turn out to be a simple fix to this problem. Now that I've had more time to use and get to know my new tractor, I must say that I love it! The ergonomic improvements over my ancient Craftsman mower make all the difference. A very comfortable seat with a high back, a step through chassis, a padded and comfortable steering wheel, and most of all having the hydrostatic transmission make this a piece of equipment that is extremely easy to use. If I had known what I was missing out on I would have bought one a long time ago! Thanks again,

    Joe

I had thought to do the same but after reading the service manual for the Kohler SV610 engine it appears that the only mixture that can be adjusted is the low speed. It says the main circuit for high speed is not adjustable so I didn't mess with it. I'm not sure if what you've done is the answer to the problem or not....just wondering what to do out loud here...but just like yours my air cleaner box was filling with fuel and raw gas was leaking out all over and I could tell that the muffler was filling with fuel as well...I could hear it boiling inside the muffler. When I had the problem I loosened the fuel tank cap and could hear the air escaping. My best idea of what the problem is is that the epa vent line from the top of the gas tank to the air box is somehow causing the fuel tank to become pressurized which is forcing too much fuel through the carburetor which then forces fuel through the line that goes into the muffler, hence the fuel boiling inside the muffler and all the white smoke. Please keep me posted if you hear anything from Husqvarna or Lowe's about this problem. Thx I also noticed air bubbles coming up from the bottom of the fuel tank through the line that feeds the carburetor when I removed the gas cap when the problem developed. Very strange. Hope this helps.

I just bought the same mower on the 25th and I've had the same problem.  You can overcome the problem (TEMPORARILY!) by simply loosening the gas cap a little bit so that it can vent to atmosphere. Hope this helps and also that we hear something from Husqvarna soon about this problem.
