Hello, I am still waiting on a response to my question. My post has been taken off of the main page, but I just want a response. Thanks

I gave it a go today cutting the grass to see if the wobble worked itself off.  It hasn't really, I think I'm just getting used to it. I also noticed that when I put the unit into reverse, with the blade engaged, the whole mower cuts off.  If I turn off the blades then throw it into reverse, it does fine. Any ideas on why that is?

    thanks,

    Hi Peter,

I just came back from Walmart with a new replacement. While there, I was able to test a unit that I guess someone had returned earlier, because it had some gas in it and it seemed to work much better. So I grabbed a brand new unit, figuring that the old one that I had was just defective. I just put gas in it to test, and it sounds horrible, vibrating just as bad or even worse than the old one. I tilted up the machine and I can see metal shavings around where the blade attaches to the unit, but it's not shavings from the blade or the cover, but probably from the motor. This may be common, since it's new, but the vibration is crazy. The guy that put all of these together probably needs to be retrained, but aside from me taking this unit back and exchanging for another (because it's such a hassle siphoning out the gas and trucking it back and dealing with store management) or taking it to an authorized dealer probably 50 miles away...what can I do to check and improve the balance on this thing. I really don't want to have to take this thing back and go with another brand, but I will if I have to.

    thanks,

    Chummy
