I have a husqvarna (LGT2554) with the dreaded (JUNK) Tuff Torq K46 transaxle, I've had this machine for approximately four years, the transaxle can handle approximately 20-30 minutes of use before there is absolutely no drive force to it, since my lawn takes roughly two hours to mow this is obviously not acceptable, is there anyone out there that can tell me if husqvarna or tuff torq is doing anything about this failure on their part to provide a useable product? Also the options that I have for making my "mower" functional again are very costly and not proven to even be effective or lasting does anyone have any answers for how to fix this issue without the same old "call this number for parts", cop out answer that I keep getting from the "service" people or the "you can send a fax to this number to register a complaint"?
I was assured by Lowes, Husqvarna, and Tuff Torq that they care about their customers but they've shown absolutely No concern at all! When I purchased this machine I spoke with the sales person for almost two hours and made abundantly clear what my needs were and that I was planning to purchase additional attachments for this machine and that I needed it to last for a very long time, he assured me that this machine should last me for the rest of my life and that it would be many years down the road before I would even need to be concerned with any kind of repairs. Obviously that was the furthest from the truth! I owned a twelve year old MTD mower that I inherited from my dad and I abused it horribly on a piece of ground that I turned into a lawn and it took all I could give it and yet this machine I have babied and made my "trophy mower" and it is already ready for the junk yard rendering all of my attachments wasted investments as well. If this is the kind of quality that the three above mentioned companies sell all can rest assured that my business and advertising will never be beneficial to them again.
