The t540xp has two eyelets, a rope eyelet, which is made out of thin metal and folds flush into the saw housing, and a belt eyelet, which is some kind of plastic. It is not on the saw when you buy it, but comes with the saw. It does not fold and runs east/west as opposed to the rope eyelet, which runs north/south. You can attach saw to your belt with one hand using the belt eyelet.

I bought my saw from a local dealer. Price was the same as online. He cut with the saw for 3 minutes, to set the auto-tune. It should self-adjust for any altitude change. After a brief warm-up, my saw has been running fine. I am in Pennsylvania and the temp has been very cold. The t540xp seems to use a lot of gas, but might get better as it breaks in. I've been a Stihl user for over 30 years. Started with the 020, then MS200T & 201T. The Husky is on par with the 200T, I would say. The Stihl is definetly  a smoother cutting saw, not as much vibration. Overall, I'm pleased with the t540xp, after about 6 or 7 tankfuls. It handles well in the tree and seems to have plenty of power. Had the bar buried in a big oak that I removed, and it did fine, except for the gas consumption.
