    Question:
Hello. I have a Husqvarna 350 chainsaw. The body is orange in color

I have a small black tag under the handle with what I believe is the serial number(s), there are two sets of numbers.

Could someone tell me what the year my saw is based on these numbers and/or how to read these numbers as far as the production date goes?

Top number on the black tag (with spaces included):
    967 01 13-00

Bottom number on the black tag: 1402186

    Thanks,

Service & Maintenance Question posted April 9, 2015 by Steve Bolio in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Chainsaws public
    Question:
    I have a Husqvarna 350 chainsaw.
I would like to sharpen the chain myself and from searching on the internet and Husqvarna's web site, I'm not sure which sharpening kit I need to get.

This is the information from the Oregon box that the chain came in: 95VP072G. Now below this number there are pictures of what looks like different parts of the chain, and there are numbers listed right under the pictures.
Here are the numbers starting from the left side of the label: 95VP, then 72, then 325", then .050"/1.3mm.

On the chain itself, the part that rides along down in the bar groove, every other link (or triangle piece) is the number 95.

From the information I've posted above, could someone tell me which sharpener file kit (1st link below) and/or chainsaw file guide (2nd link below) will work with this chain for sharpening it?

I have posted the 2 different web sites below that have items listed but I don't know which part number is correct for the chain that I have.

From this web site: /images/us/accessories/chainsaw-accessories/file-kits/, there are 4 different part numbers listed.

From this web site: /images/us/accessories/chainsaw-accessories/combination-file-guide/, there are 3 different part numbers listed.

I think I can safely say that my chain has the .325 pitch but if you'll notice, there are two .325 pitch chains listed on each web site. One with "pixel" and one without "pixel".

Could someone please clarify which part number from each web site I would need that would be the correct kit for the chain I have?

It looks like the web site with the Chainsaw Sharpener File Kits, MSRP $17.95 (1st link posted above), has the Chainsaw File Guide that is in the other link that is priced at $12.95.
Is this correct also? Is that chainsaw file guide for $12.95 included in the chainsaw sharpener file kit $17.95?

I sure could use some help figuring out which part number I need.

Thanks for any help regarding my questions,
    Steve in Central Vermont
