So, I have tried storing the saw inside my house and still have the same issue. I cleaned it yesterday and checked to see just how much oil was in the tank, there was barely enough to cover the screen, yet 8 hours later it had still leaked oil out. So how could it be a pressure buildup due to temp rising and falling when the oil tank is less than 1/4 full?
I am very dissappointed with this purchase to say the least!
Thanks for the reply. I do keep it stored in my garage. I am going to keep in stored in my house and see if that make any diiference. It just seems to be leaking a LARGE amount of oil in just a few weeks, maybe 2-3 week period. Another question, where would the oil be leaking from? I have let it set for a few days without the bar on it to see if it was coming from the port where the oil goes to the bar, but it wasnt. It was coming from somewhere deeper within but couldnt tell where with taking it further apart and being as its under warranty I didnt want to do that.
Thanks again
Normally I wouldnt have too much of an issue with this answer, but being as I just bought this same model saw, put bar oil in it before ever running it and it leaked out, I'd say you guys have an issue that needs to be addressed!
