    Yep - you get what u pay for "made in china".  Best bet, I found, was Western Auto/True Value.  Get the 11x4.00 AND innertubes.  I also had them put a bottle of "slime" into the innertube (we have lots of goat heads and medquite thorns here in high desert).  Re-setting the height on the cutting deck is a no-brainer and took a crescent wrench and about 10 minutes (thats 5 minutes getting up and down with a peg leg).

    I checked and Tractor Factory could "order" the tires but would take 10-14 business days to come in - - Western Auto had them in storck.

    I checked with my local Weed Eater Authorized service (75 miles up the road).  He said he couldn't get the 10x4.00 4 tires.  Checked with the local Tractor Factory and they said I could use 11x4.00 but would have to re-adjust the tilt on the deck.  No problems.

     

    the front tires split on the sidewalls - service center and Tractor Factory said "made in China" - you get what you pay for.
