This to all owners with a height cut problem:  I just purchased a tractor yesterday and the factory sets the scalping wheels in the highest position.  Take your tractor to a flat level surface and preform the level adjustment as outlined in the manual (you may have to download the manual as all they provide when you purchase is a quick start guide). Now the important part.....Lower your deck to YOUR desired mowing height by measuring the distance from the floor to the bottom of the blade.. Then remove each scalping wheel and reinstall it in the lowest hole it will go into with out raisng your deck. This will allow the deck to go no lower than the height you set.You will notice that the deck will no longer go to the lower positions but it will cut at Your setting or higher
