OK, Blower fixed and didn't cost me a dime. Replaced fuel line under warranty. Guy at the service center told me that they should have had a recall on this Blower with all of the fuel lines he's had to replace.
Dropped off the Blower at a local Tractor & Equipment Supply Co. - an authorized Husqvarna service center. Charged $31 to take it. Will be refunded if they can get it covered under warranty which it should since I bought it less than a year ago. Just a note if you are in the Charlotte area. I bought it at Sears.com and took it to a Sears Service Center where they boast being able to fix "any brand". Well, apparently, they just lost their contract with Husqvarna and would not take it.
Excellent picture of something that should be recall. Thanks for the input Scott. Luckily, I went back to Sears.com where I purchased the blower and found an internet order receipt showing that I paid by credit card. Also, found the UPS tracking number which I used to get the proof of delivery from last December. There is a service center at some "local" Tractor dealer 17 miles from home. Plan to take it in this Friday. Will give an update then.
I have a similar blower (125 BVX) with the exact same problem. I've noticed that the fuel primer bubble does not stay full and stalls seconds after I start the unit. Faulty primer? I hope to find a local service center but, witout a receipt I'm afraid it will cost me.
Good question. I find the Husqvarna website is useless when trying to obtain missing parts. as is the case for a new blower I just bought. Most companies just ship what is missing and that's it, simple! Customer service isn't what it used to be! Only advice I can find is to go to a local service dealer and they will obtain the parts under warranty. I had it shipped for a reason, now I have to drive somewhere to get the parts needed to operate the unit. Waste of time, gas, and money for me.
