The RZ4619 requires two lift support springs on the deck; one on each side under the seat. The dealer where I purchased mine only installed one on the right side and positioned the belt keeper on the idler pulley towards the front of the mower when they assembled the mower. After a short time, the belt started coming off and tearing chunks out of it. I leveled the deck and noticed the parts list called for TWO springs; one on the right and one on the left, The keeper should be towards the right side of the mower, between the tension idler and the stationary idler. Also make sure the tension idler is tightened correctly. Evidently having two springs keeps the deck from bouncing, which was causing the belt to come off. My dealer gave me the missing spring when I pointed this out to them. I have been running the mower for over a year with no more thrown belts, thank God. If there are other models having this problem, I suggest checking to see another spring can be added.
