Warranty Question posted October 18, 2011 by David Dessel
    Question:
This isn't a question as much as a comment. 335FR purchased 6/22/11. Put in service 7/14/11 for grass/weed clearing in trail corridor. Basically the long & short of it is the motor ceased. Dealer indicates the crankshaft or crank bearings are shot and the piston is scored = motor rebuild. They also indicated pilot error and a non-warrantable repair to the tune of $400.00. Here's my comment: I currently own a 1987 Model 61, an 1994 Model 51, and a 2007 265RX forestry cutter. All of which are still going strong after years of commercial use (I'm a trail contractor). That's a testimony to the care I give my machines... I am dismayed that after only 2months of use this 335 failed. Fuel was the same, maintenance was the same, use habits were the same. I am also somewhat dismayed that the dealers 1st assumption was "pilot error". So now I sit here 4 months after purchase with a (as of yet) non-functioning 335 that has less than 35hours on it that I will have almost 1K invested in. Unbelievable.

Warranty Question posted September 10, 2011 by Marilyn McMahon
    Question:
We owned a 34R Husqvarna brushcutter for 23 years. We had to replace it this year and bought a 343FR. My son liked the wider handle bar width on the old one. It allowed him to have more of a swing and cut a wider arc with the brushcutter. The man where we bought it measured the diameter of the old handle bar and it was almost exactly the same. It would just need to have a hole drilled to accomodate the bolt on the power side of the old handle. Would this void the warranty if we swapped out the handles?

    Question:
Hello , I Bought a FR345 Brush cutter , this is the second year of running it , I Use Un ethanol Gas Only , today when trying to start it , I found that the Fuel Line had turned to a soft Putty and was falling apart in the Fuel Tank . I called My Dealer , and told them my Problem ,?? , They seemed to Care Less about it .They told me that ALL Fuel lines do this ,, NOT TRUE ,, I have had and Run Chainsaws for Years with the same Fuel lines and have had " NO " Problems .. So I am trying to get answers Here ! I Feel that My Dealer Let me DOWN and HUSQAVARNA Failed to do a Better Job of inspecting their Fuel line Materials be for having them installed in their Products .. I will Replace the Fuel Line My Self and Will Never Buy another Husqvarna Product from this Dealer again !

Warranty Question posted March 20, 2016 by Jeff Lassek
    Question:
I recently purchased a Husqvarna 327RJX Trimmer. I also bought the 96OZ of Pre-mixed fuel at the same time, on the same receipt. I have registered my purchase on the Husqvarna site and it shows that the registration is "SOLVED". But I never received a confirmation that my Warranty has been doubled to the 4 years from the standard 2 years. How can I find out if my warranty is, in fact, 4 years now? Thanks
